MA7OO clocks up 185 orders with 11 Customers

AVIC held an MA7OO aircraft market launch conference, the marketing work for the new turboprop aircraft had fully started.
In that meeting AVIC communicated that MA700 had signed 185 orders with 11 customers including Okay Airways, Joy Air, Bayon Airlines, CDB Leasing, CMB Leasing, Chongqing General Aviation Financial Leasing, Poly Technologies and AirAvenues (Nepal).
This is another major milestone following the announcement that it was launching full development of this project on 19 December 2013 which meant the development of MA7OO aircraft was entering the engineering development stage. AS scheduled, the MA7OO will complete parts assembly in 2016, be off the final assembly line and rolled out in 2017, and achieve airworthiness certification and delivery to users in 2019.
As a new—generation 70-seat turboprop aircraft, the MA7OO features economy, comfort, speed, advanced technology, and airport and route adaptability. The platform will achieve a perfect balance of speed and economy in short and medium range air transportation.
